Hershey's Ice Cream Consumer Fraud Alert

A mail scam has come to our attention where an unknown party has been contacting consumers
pretending to be a "Mystery Shopper's Program" working in conjunction with Hershey’s® Ice Cream.
The scaminvolves a letter from the Mystery Shopper's Program discussing details of a job assignment,
and stating the recipient will make a “salary”, plus extra money to spend at certain retailers. The recipient
must contact an “Account Manager”, and then transfer money through Western Union utilizing a fraudulent
check from Hershey Creamery Company. The Hershey Creamery Company (Hershey's® Ice Cream) has no
affiliation with this company, has no part in this scam, and is contacting the necessary authorities.
If you should happen to receive such a letter and check, we urge you to report this immediately to your local
police as well as the postal service.

Hershey's® Ice Cream will only contact you if we conduct business with you, if you have contacted us through
our web site (signing up for our Dipperz Club, etc.), or if you have requested information from us. We value our
customers and their privacy (to learn more about our Privacy Policy click here). If you have doubts about any
mail received from Hershey's® Ice Cream or Hershey Creamery Company, or a company claiming to
represent or have some affiliation with Hershey's® Ice Cream or Hershey Creamery Company, please call
1-888-240-1905 for verification, or contact us using our “Contact Us” page by clicking here.

Thank you for your loyalty and patience as we sort out this important matter.
